To All Virginia Sons of the American Revolution:
On Saturday, April 13, 2019, the Williamsburg Chapter of the Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will celebrate its 50th Anniversary since it was organized in 1969. This event will be celebrated during our luncheon meeting at noon at the Colonial Heritage Club, 6500 Arthur Hills Drive, Williamsburg.
During the celebration, we will be joined by representatives from the Daughters of the American Revolution and the George Wythe Society (C.A.R.) Chapters from Williamsburg; the Gov. Thomas Nelson, Jr. (SAR) and the Comte de Grasse (DAR) Chapters from Yorktown. Other invitees, will include the Mayor of Williamsburg. Representing the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will be Nation Builders such as Mr. Steven Seal and “Young Thomas Jefferson” (Mr. Kurt Smith) who will be our keynote speaker.
We want to extend to members of all Virginia Society chapters an invitation to join the Williamsburg Chapter during this milestone celebration of fifty years of sponsoring and participating in the commemorative events that keep patriotism and the memory of our Revolutionary War heritage burning in the hearts and minds of every American.
