A Service of Morning Prayer for the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Virginia at Valley Forge

     This morning Virginia SAR President Mike Elston led a delegation of eleven Virginia SAR members from five chapters (Col James Wood II, Culpeper Minutemen, Fairfax Resolves, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson) to the Washington Memorial Chapel at Valley Forge for a service honoring the Continental soldiers who wintered at Valley Forge during the Revolution.  Seven of the Virginia SAR members participated in the Color Guard during the ceremony.  Also participating were members of the Virginia DAR and the New Jersey SAR and DAR.
