On Saturday, November 2nd, the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter and the Fauquier Court House Chapter, DAR, co-hosted a Genealogy Workshop for the public at Warrenton Presbyterian Church. The workshop featured nine presentations on various genealogy topics, including a lunch time presentation by our keynote speaker, NSSAR Foundation President and former President General Joseph W. Dooley. Breakfast and lunch were also included in the workshop, which was free to the public. Over one hundred budding and experienced genealogist registered for the workshop and over ninety showed up for the presentations.

SAR presenters included Foundation President Joe Dooley, Culpeper Minutemen President Tom Hamill and Virginia SAR 1st Vice President Bill Schwetke. The Culpeper Minutemen Chapter also provided volunteers who helped with presenting the workshop: Culpeper Minutemen Chapter Vice President Charles Jameson and Ric Jenkins.
