The Fall Leadership meeting in Louisville, KY, held from Sep 29 to Oct 2, was attended by 17 Virginia SAR compatriots including Chancellor General Mike Elston, VPG Pete Davenport, PG Joe Dooley 2013-14, Trustee Jeff Thomas, President Bruce Meyer, 1st Vice President Ernie Coggins, 2nd Vice President Bill Great, Secretary Tim Dioquino, Assistant Secretary Forrest Crain, Genealogy Committee Chair Bill Schwetke, Reenactor & Living History Committee Chair Brett Osborn, Past President Pat Kelly, David Cook, Dale Corey, Ken Morris and first time attendees Ken Bonner and Sean Carrigan.
Events at the meeting included a Model Ship Dedication Ceremony on Thursday at the SAR Education Center and Museum, committee meetings and the opening banquet on Friday, and the Trustees meeting and closing formal banquet on Saturday.

During the presentation of gifts, the George Mason chapter announced a $1,000 gift for the SAR Annual Conference on the American Revolution
The Board of Trustees took the following actions during the business meeting:
Treasurer General Darryl Addington reported that a potential dues increase in being considered with a report to be provided at Spring Leadership. Any potential dues increase would need to be approved at the 2023 Annual Congress to become effective for 2024.
The 2023 Spring Leadership and Trustees Meeting will be held at the Brown Hotel from 1-5 March 2023.
