report by Keith Rouleau of the Col William Grayson Chapter This year's District V VA History Day was another great success with more student participation than ever before. The 2017 Theme Narrative this year: "TAKING A STAND IN HISTORY". The theme is broad to encourage participants to delve into history, whether it be a topic from the ancient world or the history of their own city. Of course the SAR awards are presented to those participants who's research
relates to some aspect of the Revolutionary War. The local Virginia SAR chapters were well represented with the following members participating: Virginia SAR - Member Chapter 1.
