21-22 Apr 2017 Richmond, VA Over 100 people gathered at both the Library of Virginia on Friday and the Four Points by Sheraton on Saturday for the Spring Conference of the Virginia Genealogical Society. At the library society experts helped attendees with genealogical road blocks. On Saturday there was a society business meeting and a series of lectures on "DNA and Social Media Research Strategies" by Shannon Combs-Bennett. During the business meeting, Virginia Genealogical Society President Teresa Kelley presented Compatriot Peter Broadbent a check for $500 in his honor to the Library of Virginia to assist in the preservation of historic documents. Compatriot Broadbent also received an acrylic, with a clock mounted in it, to remind him of the countless hours he had spent further the mission of the Library of Virginia and the Virginia Genealogical Society. He was been a long term officer in both organizations. He is also currently on the Board of Managers for the Richmond Chapter.

I was also there to see the same thing that you have been talking about in this library. It sure has been worth of having some quality time which is the demand of every reader.
