Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, in partnership with the Mathews VA250 Committee, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and the American Society of Le Souvenir Français, Inc., invites all SAR, DAR, C.A.R., other lineal societies, historical societies, and all those interested in Revolutionary and Colonial American history to join in the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Cricket Hill / Gwynn's Island.

Event includes memorial marker and interpretive sign dedication, a wreath-laying ceremony, and SAR Color Guard.  Music will be provided by U.S. Fleet Forces Band.  A French Army contingent of NATO will participate.  Keynote speaker:  Andrew Lawler, author of "A Perfect Frenzy".
