On Sunday, April 12, 2026 the Halifax Resolves Chapter of the NC Society of the SAR  will be celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Halifax Resolves in Halifax, NC. We would love for as many of our Virginia Compatriots to attend. President General Michael J. Elston, Esq. of Virginia will be present for two days of this event. Below you will find a link to the registration for Sunday. We have a spectacular event to planned for everyone. All National, State General officers of Virginia as well as all Virginia Chapter Presidents should be receiving an invitation to the President General’s Reception which will be held on Saturday evening in Halifax. If you need motel rooms the registration below will make those available to you. This is a very special event not only for our Chapter but the State of North Carolina and the Halifax State Historic Site.
