Virginia SAR President Michael E. Weyler, Ph.D., with the Colonel William Grayson and Fairfax Resolves chapters cordially invite members of the Sons of the American Revolution and their guests to attend the 2025 Semi-Annual Meeting at the Westin Washington Dulles in Herndon, VA.

Hotel Registration

Hotel Registration is now open until Friday, September 5, 2025 located here: Hotel Reservations. Please note the deadline is two weeks before the start of the Semi-Annual Meeting. We appreciate your understanding!

The Westin Washington Dulles worked with us to negotiate a great rate of $119.00 per night for either a King or Two-Queen Room. Book early to reserve your preference. The rates are being honored between September 18-21 to extend your stay in Northern Virginia. There is no block rate guarantee after September 5, but the Westin Washington Dulles will continue to allow reservations.

Semi-Annual Meeting Registration

We are excited to share there will be an optional Multi-Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony hosted by the Sergeant Major John Champe Chapter on Friday morning at Ketoctin Baptist Cemetery in Purcellville, VA for credit towards your Patriot Grave Marking Medal. For the afternoon, a special tour of the Udvar-Hazy National Air and Space Museum led by our very own Compatriot Larry McKinley and their docents. The Semi-Annual Meeting officially kicks off Friday evening with a Social Gathering followed by a Dinner Buffet and a Joint Compatriot and Ladies' Program with a Special Guest Speaker. President Weyler’s Reception closes the evening before we settle in for the night.

Saturday morning will offer a sumptuous Breakfast Buffet option followed by the General Membership Meeting w/ a Flag Retirement Ceremony and free time for the ladies. We will close the Semi-Annual with a Social Gathering and Plated Luncheon then say our goodbyes to head home Saturday afternoon. The George Washington Chapter will be hosting their annual President General’s Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery which everyone is invited to attend. This September, the Virginia Society invites you to a dynamic series of virtual workshops designed to empower chapter leaders, enhance administrative know-how, and deepen your impact across our shared mission.

Whether you're navigating the SAR Patriot Record System, mastering MemberClicks, or honoring veterans through grave documentation, each session offers practical tools and expert guidance tailored to your role. With topics ranging from awards and Americanism reporting to PAYROC and Patriot Graves, there's something for everyone. Join us online, 7–8 PM most evenings, and let’s build a stronger, more connected SAR together.
