Williamsburg Recognition of Scouts

The February 18th meeting of the Williamsburg Chapter SAR held at Colonial Heritage Club House, Williamsburg, Virginia. The main focus of the meeting was Boy Scouts.

 Bruce Laubach, President presented The SAR Eagle Scout Medal for the winners of the chapter’s Eagle Scout Scholarship Competition to Eagle Scout Edwin Lampitt, Troop 414 and Matthew HarrelL.

John Lynch Chapter Vice President presenting the Robert C Burt Scout Volunteer Award to Chapter President Bruce Laubach.  Awarded by the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution, this honor is presented to members of the SAR who act as a role model and provide dedicated service to the Boy Scouts of American.

 

 

Harley Steward receives the State level Eagle Scout Recognition award from Chapter President Bruce Laubach.  The award recognized Harley’s outstanding service to the Boy Scouts of America and Virginia Society of the SAR.
