Virginia SAR–Pomeroy logo features a circular emblem with a gold border. Inside, against a red and blue background that outlines the shape of Virginia, stands the silhouette of a colonial militia man in navy blue. The militia man is holding a rifle vertically with both hands. Above the figure, arched text reads “VIRGINIA SOCIETY,” and below is “SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.” The color contrast between the gold, red, blue, and navy blue creates a striking visual emblem representing historical significance related to Virginia and the American Revolution.
