Location: George Washington's Mount Vernon, VA.
Details: Assemble at the Ann Pamela Cunningham Administrative Building (Building 3 on the Mount Vernon Map below) between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. At 9:30 AM, expect to receive the “green light” from the Mount Vernon staff to march down to Bowling Green, and pass in review between the ranks of the 1st Virginia Regiment and the George Washington portrayer, then proceeding to the Tomb Grove.  Please see attached Playbook diagram of the formation.

At the Tomb Grove, the George Washington Chapter will conduct a brief ceremony featuring remarks from our Chapter President. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at George Washington’s Tomb after the ceremony. Attendees can then lay a carnation (provided by the Chapter) at General Washington’s and Martha Washington’s Tombs. The ceremony will conclude at 11:00 AM when we return to Tomb Grove for photographs.
