Host/POC: Fairfax Resolves Chapter / David Huxsoll

Location: Fairfax City Hall, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, VA

Details:  The Fairfax Resolves Chapter VASSAR and the Fairfax County Chapter of the DAR will set up adjoining booths at the Fairfax City Hometown Celebration.  Members of the Fairfax Resolves Chapter will discuss the Fairfax Resolves Resolution. Recruiting material will be on hand and members will be prepared to answer questions about joining the SAR.  Members of the color guard will discuss period costumes and weapons. The Fairfax City Hometown Celebration kicks of Independence Day celebrations in Fairfax.  The event will take place at the Veterans Amphitheater adjacent to City Hall and will feature games, food trucks and a concert by the award-winning City of Fairfax Band.
