Rev. Gene Thomas Memorial Fund

The Rev. Gene Thomas Memorial Fund is a trust fund used by the Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (Virginia SAR) to initiate or aid activities promoting the society's values, specifically targeting aid to new, small, or rural chapter locations.

Donations to the Thomas Fund for New, Small and Rural Chapters

Virginia SAR compatriots and the general public are invited to support the Rev. Gene Thomas Memorial Fund. Your contributions strengthen emerging chapters, empower small and developing memberships, and provide vital resources to rural communities across the Commonwealth. This fund helps ensure that every chapter—regardless of size or location—has the support it needs to grow, serve, and thrive. Your contributions enrich these programs and encourage students across the Commonwealth to showcase their creativity and talents.


State-level donations designated to benefit these programs shall be given a rank in the Virginia Society First Virginia Regiment, based on the level of the contribution.
