Wreaths Across America: Honoring Heroes Across Virginia

“Remember. Honor. Teach.”
These three words are the mission of Wreaths Across America, a national movement to honor our fallen veterans by placing wreaths on their graves each December. The Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (Virginia SAR) proudly supports this mission—and we invite you to join us.

How You Can Help

Virginia SAR chapters are sponsoring wreath placements at cemeteries throughout the Commonwealth. Your donation ensures that every veteran’s grave is honored with a fresh balsam wreath—a symbol of remembrance and gratitude.

Why It Matters

Each wreath placed is a personal tribute to a life of service. Whether it’s a Revolutionary War patriot or a modern-day hero, your support helps us preserve memory, inspire patriotism, and teach future generations about sacrifice and freedom.

Wreaths Across America is recognized by the National SAR as an official Service to Veterans activity. Participation by Virginia SAR chapters and compatriots qualifies for credit under the SAR USS Stark Memorial Award program, which honors sustained service and outreach to America’s veterans.
