George Washington Chapter, Virginia SAR

Chartered on April 2, 1954, the George Washington Chapter, Virginia SAR is one of eight chapters in the Northern Region and draws its membership from the City of Alexandria and portions of Fairfax and Prince William counties.

Chapter Recognition

At the 2025 National SAR Annual Congress, the Chapter won the President General's Chapter Activities Award, 2nd place in the Liberty Bell Americanism Award, and 3rd place in the President General's Cup.

At the 2025 Virginia SAR Annual Conference, the Chapter garnered numerous state accolades to include:
